My husband and I have been married for four years now and have a baby who is 2 years old. Ours was an arranged marriage and we both are educated and are working abroad. Because of my circumstances of being alone, I have not had a open relationship with my parents, and I always considered marriage would be a bliss to me considering that now I have a friend who will share my sorrows and happiness and who I can speak to that I considered him to be the number one person in my life. But the response I got was opposite. I was merely a person who was living with him. He doesn't have any affairs or anything else of that sort it was just that he got married because everyone told him so and he had no dreams of a married life. Which he told me a few days back, we struggled a lot to find jobs and at that time I had to be very patient, we never really went out or had any passion as husband and wife. After the baby was born, I realized that he was treating the baby the same way. And he knows how to start a good conversation with his family and friends. But when it comes to me, I just feel we can never speak and he doesn't try to interact. The baby is also distant from him. Although, he does help me in household chores, we just don't have that bonding. During pregnancy, I had some complications and he took care of me but every week there would be a fight. And we have been fighting like this. And explaining to him of what should be done thinking that it is because he doesn't know. The baby is also distant from him. Now he has started expressing love, but I have had it so much that I do not know if he is doing it because I have told him so, I've tried so much but that love I had for him seems to be vanishing with each year and I seem to be becoming like him. I don't know what to do please help.
